Choke Hole is a Drag wrestling event born out of the underground queer party scene of New Orleans. Since 2018 they have been merging the camp aesthetics and culture of Drag with the physicality of WWE style wrestling. Chokehole is known for its humorous take on contemporary politics, irreverent violence, and proof that gays not only bash back, they backflip. From DIY beginnings, they have graced and stained the stages of Area 15 in Las Vegas, Kampnagel in Hamburg, the center of Times Square, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Ellery Neon hosts chokehole as Gorleenyah, a triple nosed space witch who is an extension of his graffiti characters. He is also one of the lead producers of the show and creates illustrations and giant props for the event.
